How does the plastic pipe make? what is the material?

When i was young, i am curious about why there is no splicing trace on plastic pipe, how does it make? i was wondering if it is made by welding sophisticated. i never thought the pipe is made by plastic pipe extrusion machine.

I thought always about this doubt, how does the plastic pipe make?  there is another question that why the water pump in our home can used in long long time?

When i grew up, i understand it from the professionanal  plastic pipe manufacturer. extruder lines are the largest converters of plastics and can be considered the most important production machinery in the plastic industry. Commercially, extrusion lines are target to give advantages with regard to operating cost (output per hour). It is possible to produce throughout extrusion films, sheets, profiles, pipes, tubes, rods, wire coverings, coatings, filaments, blown shapes and many others. Pipes are one of the most important parts made by extrusion, and it has a wide range of applications, especially in the industry. The two main reasons that make them attractive to the processors and markets are their almost unlimited range of applications and their continuous production capabilities to meet new market challenges.

What is the material of the plastic pipe?

Common materials for plastic pipe include:

polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC)

high-density polyethylene (HDPE)

low-density polyethylene (LDPE)

acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)

Then how does the different plastic pipe made? how to control their color? and pipe diameter?

These are new problems that i thought ever. another problems, PVC pipe provides good flexibility, a smooth surface, and nontoxic qualities. Because PVC piping is inert, some grades are used in food and chemical processing. CPVC pipe shares many of the same advantages and uses as PVC, but typically carries higher temperature ratings. HDPE pipe provides good temperature resistance and is used in drainage structures and systems. LDPE pipe is used in drainage systems as well as industrial process components, laboratories, and sprinkler and drip irrigation systems. ABS pipe provides good chemical and creep resistance as well as dimensional stability. Other types of plastic pipe are also available.

The production of thermoplastic pipe systems is a major industry which accounts for a significant volume of polymers. The production of PVC pipes is extremely important to this industry, since PVC pipes is widely used, especially in water pipelines, and this industry will continually growing throughout the years.when my tutor told me this,i was shocked by the truth.

The extrusion process requires some adjustments, mainly in terms of cooling system, die and resin preparation. PVC requires special attention because, it cannot be processed without the use of plasticizers and heat stabilizers, which increases the cost of production due the high price of this additives. you are curious about all strange things, but you never ask whym then you will not know the truth intil end.

The costs of production are elevated due to the requirement of an extruder capable of high production, the cooling tank, and mainly due to the necessity of a system to measure and adjust the diameter of the pipe according to standards used in its applications.told by my tutor, he is a engineer on plastic recycling machine factory. so i think his knowledge starts with practice.
